RIDE NIPOMO EQUESTRIAN TRAIL ALLIANCE
ESTABLISHED IN 2000
Ride Nipomo was created in 2000 by a dedicated group of volunteers, determined to protect and expand the horse trails in the local Nipomo area. The hard work has paid off and we helped sway local government and developers to recognize the equestrian community's needs.
Over the years, we have also helped protect and expand trail systems in other regions of San Luis Obispo County as well as having a voice in Santa Barbara and Monterey Counties.
We are still an all-volunteer non-profit group. We count on our dedicated Board Members and especially our wonderful club members.
Our board members are the backbone of RN.
Monthly meetings have been held for the last 15 years running, making sure the central coast trails are on the top of the list.
I worked for over 40 years in the financial industry, banks, and credit unions.
I retired in 2013 from Sesloc FCU as a senior loan officer. I currently serve as Treasurer for Ride Nipomo. I started riding when I was 10, and my parents bought me a green 3-year-old quarter horse that I showed for 7 years.
I currently own 3 quarter horses and one draft cross.
