April 2020

Are you safe inside your home? We hope so! Only a few news tidbits this month.

~ Be careful, there is tractor work going on in the Trilogy vineyard trails, above the homes on Mesa Road. The tractors will be using the equestrian trail as a place to to turn around.

~ Ride Nipomo Board member Lenore Spelbring (and husband, Gary) helped get the horse crossing signs posted on Mesa Road, coming in and out of Trilogy, to make drivers aware of our presence. Thank you!!!!

~ According to April 4 edition of SLO Horse News, the dirt parking lot at the Grand Avenue entrance to Pismo State Beach will be CLOSED on Thursday, April 9.

~ Los Flores Ranch Park, south of Orcutt, is expanding their hours to offer more opportunity for everyone to get some healthy exercise. If you have not been, it is a wonderful mixed use public open space.

As of today, April 2, the horse parking will be closed until further notice due to a Cal Trans project. Parking will be at 6245 Dominion Road, right before the official park entrance. Open Wednesday - Sunday 8AM – 7PM. Currently, horses are only allowed on ranch roads as the trails are still wet from our March rains. Always call 805-938-7618 before you arrive! Stay safe by staying home, if you can.

Stay sane by giving your horse lots of extra attention.
